7:73
وَإِلَى ثَمُودَ أَخَاهُمْ صَالِحا ً قَالَ يَاقَوْمِ اعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ مَا لَكُمْ مِنْ إِلَه ٍٍ غَيْرُه ُُ قَدْ جَاءَتْكُمْ بَيِّنَة ٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ هَذِه ِِ نَاقَةُ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ آيَة ً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوء ٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيم ٌ
Wa 'Ilá Thamūda 'Akhāhum Şāliĥāan Qāla Yā Qawmi A`budū Allāha Mā Lakum Min 'Ilahin GhayruhuQad Jā'atkum Bayyinatun Min Rabbikum Hadhihi Nāqatu Allāhi Lakum 'Āyatan Fadharūhā Ta'kul Fī 'ArĐi Allāhi Wa Lā Tamassūhā Bisū'in Faya'khudhakum `Adhābun 'Alīmun 

 

And to Thamud, We sent their brother Saleh, he said: "My people, serve God, you have no god besides Him; clarity has come to you from your Lord, this is the camel of God, in her you have a sign, so leave her to eat in God's earth, and do not harm her, else the painful retribution will take you."

 

7:77
فَعَقَرُوا النَّاقَةَ وَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ وَقَالُوا يَاصَالِحُ ائْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَا إِنْ كُنتَ مِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
Fa`aqarū An-Nāqata Wa `Ataw `An 'Amri Rabbihim Wa Qālū Yā Şāliĥu A'tinā Bimā Ta`idunā 'In Kunta Mina Al-Mursalīna 

 

They thus killed the camel and defied the command of their Lord, and they said: "O Saleh, bring us what you promised us if you are of the messengers!"

 

11:64
وَيَا قَوْمِ هَذِه ِِ نَاقَةُ اللَّهِ لَكُمْ آيَة ً فَذَرُوهَا تَأْكُلْ فِي أَرْضِ اللَّهِ وَلاَ تَمَسُّوهَا بِسُوء ٍ فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ عَذَاب ٌ قَرِيب ٌ
Wa Yā Qawmi Hadhihi Nāqatu Allāhi Lakum 'Āyatan Fadharūhā Ta'kul Fī 'ArĐi Allāhi Wa Lā Tamassūhā Bisū'in Faya'khudhakum `Adhābun Qarībun 

 

"And O my people, this is the camel of God, in her you have a sign. So leave her to eat from God's earth freely, and do not harm her, or else a close retribution will take you."

 

17:59
وَمَا مَنَعَنَا أَنْ نُرْسِلَ بِالآيَاتِ إِلاَّ أَنْ كَذَّبَ بِهَا الأَوَّلُونَ وَآتَيْنَا ثَمُودَ النَّاقَةَ مُبْصِرَة ً فَظَلَمُوا بِهَا وَمَا نُرْسِلُ بِالآيَاتِ إِلاَّ تَخْوِيفا ً
Wa Mā Mana`anā 'An Nursila Bil-'Āyāti 'Illā 'An Kadhdhaba Bihā Al-'Awwalūna Wa 'Ātaynā Thamūda An-Nāqata Mubşiratan Fažalamū Bihā Wa Mā Nursilu Bil-'Āyāti 'Illā Takhwīfāan 

 

And what stopped Us from sending the signs except that the previous people disbelieved in them. And We sent to Thamud the camel with foresight, but they did her wrong. And We do not send the signs except to make them fearful.

 

26:155
قَالَ هَذِه ِِ نَاقَة ٌ لَهَا شِرْب ٌ وَلَكُمْ شِرْبُ يَوْم ٍ مَعْلُوم ٍ
Qāla Hadhihi Nāqatun LahāShirbun Wa Lakum Shirbu Yawmin Ma`lūmin 

 

He said: "This is a female camel, for her is a share of water, and for you is a share of water, each on an appointed day."

 

54:27
إِنَّا مُرْسِلُو النَّاقَةِ فِتْنَة ً لَهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَاصْطَبِرْ
'Innā Mursilū An-Nāqati Fitnatan Lahum Fārtaqibhum Wa Aşţabir 

We are sending the camel as a test for them. So watch them and be patient.

 

91:13
فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا
Faqāla Lahum Rasūlu Allāhi Nāqata Allāhi Wa Suqyāhā 

 

So the messenger of God said to them: This is the camel of God and her place of drinking.
